Description

The Beaverette was an improvised armoured car developed during WWII. Simply a civilian car chassis with composite armour of steel faced oak planks, it was used by the Home Guard and some military units for Home Defence and training purposes.

The MkIII featured either a fully enclosed turret with a Bren gun, an open turret with two Lewis guns or even the turret from a Boulton-Paul Deviant equipped with four .30 cal machine guns!
