Description
“Beehive” pillboxes are a peculiar form found mostly in the north of England. Originally made from concrete filled sandbags, these defences gave the impression of being simply being a bulletproof sandbag enclosure when in reality the walls were 2 feet of concrete.
Often found in Northumberland and Cumbria, they are usually rounded or D shaped with 3 wood lined loopholes for rifles or LMGs.
In order to aid with placing models inside, this is designed with a removable roof.
Regional and other variations are also possible, please contact us for further information or with specific requests.
