RSO Artillery Tractor (German)

Description

The Raupenschlepper Ost (or “RSO”) was a small, fully tracked artillery tractor designed in response to the poor performance of normal wheeled and half-tracked vehicles in the mud of the Eastern Front. Once introduced, the RSO quickly became popular with all units that received them due to it’s ability to cope with all manner of terrain as the fact that unlike many German tracked vehicles, it was reliable and easy to maintain.
