Description
In addition to the standard types and variations of pillboxes, there are a number of completely unique examples in different areas of the country. One such pillbox is this “keyhole” shaped example with a rounded, thick concrete frontage with 3 large embrasures and a brick build rear. Based on a pillbox from a airfield in Northumberland, the thick roof would be ideal for protection from aerial attack.
In order to aid with placing models inside, this is designed without an interior blast wall, and with a removable roof.
Regional and other variations are also possible, please contact us for further information or with specific requests.
