Description
The L3/33 (and it’s variant such as the L3 Lf) was a light tank originally based on the British Carden-Lloyd carrier and developed in 1933. A small and very light vehicle, the L3/33 extensive use by many countries in the Austrian Civil War, Second Sino-Japanese War, Second Italo-Abyssinian War, Spanish Civil War, Greco-Italian War, Slovak–Hungarian War, Invasion of Albania and the Anglo-Iraqi War. It also saw service in the Western Desert during WWII.
The L3 Lf was a variant of the original L3/33, and replaced one of the MGs with a flame thrower. Similarly to the Churchill Crocodile, the L3 Lf towed it’s fuel in a trailer.
