M1939 85mm 52k anti-aircraft gun – summer (Soviet)

Description

The M1939 85mm anti aircraft gun was a heavy AA gun of the Soviet Union during WWII. Comparable to the German 88, it was a well designed weapon that was very effective in its role and also could be used in a limited capacity as an anti-tank weapon. As with the Flak 88, it was also the basis of the 85mm anti-tank guns that were fitted to Soviet tanks.

After the end of the war, most countries of the new USSR received these guns, with the Soviet Union itself upgrading to 100mm and 130mm weapons instead
