M2 Halftrack – open (US)

Description

The M2 halftrack was a armoured halftrack used by the US army during WWII. Designed at the start of the war, the M2 was first fielded during 1941 and went on to service in North Africa, Europe and the PTO. They were also shipped to the Soviet Union as part of the Lend-Lease program. The M2 was also used as the basis for a number of conversions including a mortar carrier, aAA gun mount and anti-tank platform.
