Panzer I Ausf. B (German)

Description

The Panzer I Ausf. B was an upgraded version of the original Panzer I light tank used by Germany during World War II. It featured a more powerful engine and an extended chassis compared to the Ausf. A model. Armed with two 7.92 mm MG13 machine guns, the Panzer I B was primarily used for training and reconnaissance missions. Its light armour made it vulnerable in combat, but it played a crucial role in the early Blitzkrieg campaigns, providing support to more heavily armed units. Despite its limitations, the Panzer I B helped lay the groundwork for Germany’s armoured warfare tactics.
