Renault ADR truck (Italian)

Description

The Renault ADR Blindato was an Italian armored personnel carrier (APC) used during World War II. These vehicles were based on Renault trucks captured by Italian or German forces in France and then modified in local workshops by Italian units in the Balkans. The ADR Blindato was primarily used for patrolling and escorting supply convoys in the Balkan theater starting from 1941.

The modifications included adding armour plating to protect against small arms fire and shrapnel, and arming the vehicles with machine guns or light cannons. Due to their improvised construction and limited production, these vehicles are relatively unknown and were not widely used outside of the Balkans.
