Description
The SdKfz 234 was a range of armoured cars developed by Germany during WWII. Probably most famous is the 234/2 “Puma” which featured a fully enclosed turret and a 50mm KwK 39 L/60 originally designed for the discontinued “Leopard” light tank. Around 100 Pumas were produced and it was the most advanced German armoured car design of the war.
The SdKfz 234/4 was a German armoured car used during World War II. It was part of the SdKfz 234 series and was equipped with a powerful 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun. This vehicle was designed for reconnaissance and anti-tank roles, combining mobility with significant firepower. The SdKfz 234/4 had a four-wheel drive and an air-cooled diesel engine, making it suitable for various terrains. Its open-top design provided good visibility but left the crew vulnerable to enemy fire. Despite its vulnerabilities, it was effective in its intended roles and saw action on multiple fronts.
