Semovente 90/53 ammunition carrier (Italian)

Description

The Semovente 90/53 ammunition carrier was a specialized vehicle developed to support the Semovente da 90/53 self-propelled gun during World War II. Based on the Fiat L6/40 light tank, it was designed to address the limited ammunition capacity of the Semovente 90/53, which could only carry eight rounds. The carrier transported an additional 26 rounds, with a further 40 rounds in a towed trailer. This setup ensured a steady supply of ammunition for the 90 mm gun, enhancing its effectiveness in combat.
