Smith Gun (British)

Description

The Smith Gun was a smoothbore 3″ calibre sub-artillery piece developed by Britain  after Dunkirk. It was designed both an anti-tank and anti-personnel weapon but was only effective at very short ranges. It ended up seeing service with the Home Guard and various home defence units such as those guarding airfields.
