Steel Pillbox

Price range: £2.52 through £18.00

Description

During the assault on Tarawa Atoll in 1943, the USMC came across a unique style of Japanese defence – the prefabricated steel pillbox. These were setup behind the seawall, and each had either one or two apertures for machine guns. The pillboxes were quite tall and also served as company command posts.

These are available with either one or two MG loopholes.
