Trench

Description

While not as prevalent as those of WWI, the trench was still widely used during WWII as a defensive feature. Quickly made in soil, sand or snow, and reinforced with sandbags, wood or corrugated iron, these provided shelter for thousands of soldiers.

Each component has tabs to lock the pieces together, and features a textured floor, corrugated iron reinforcing and a sandbagged top.

The complete trench consists of two closing end pieces and four mid pieces.
