Description
The Type 22 pillbox was one of the standard defensive strongpoints built in England during WWII to counter the anticipated German invasion. Designed for riflemen, these are hexagonal in shape and generally have loopholes in 5 of the walls, and the entrance in the sixth. Built from both concrete and bricks, they are one of the most commonly found types.
This variant is based on examples found in Southern England.
In order to aid with placing models inside, this is designed without an interior blast wall, and with a removable roof.
Regional and other variations are also possible, please contact us for further information or with specific requests.
