Description
The SdKfz 234 was a range of armoured cars developed by Germany during WWII. Probably most famous is the 234/2 “Puma” which featured a fully enclosed turret and a 50mm KwK 39 L/60 originally designed for the discontinued “Leopard” light tank. Around 100 Pumas were produced and it was the most advanced German armoured car design of the war.
The 234/1 was a lighter variant, equipped with a 20mm autocannon in an open turret that was better for reconnaissance. Around 200 of these were manufactured.
