BA-20 armoured car (Soviet)

Description

The BA-20 was an armoured car used by the Soviet Union during WWII. Originally developed in the mid 1930’s, it saw service from 1936-1945 in a range of theatres and conflicts. Initially some were also exported for use by the Spanish Republican army during the Spanish Civil War, but most were used by the Soviet Union. During the war, they were used in battles against Japan, Poland and Finland. The latter captured 18 and redesignated them BAB B.  

The primary armament was a 7.62mm DT machine gun.
