Description
One of the less well known of “Hobart’s Funnies” was the armoured bulldozer. Mostly based on the Caterpillar D7 ‘dozer, some were also built using the Caterpillar D8.
The D8 variant saw service with the 87th Assault Squadron of Royal Engineers at Sword beach on D-Day
