DAK FlaK 37 3.7cm AA gun (German)

Description

The German 3.7 cm Flak 37 was an improved version of the earlier Flak 36 anti‑aircraft gun, designed to counter low‑flying aircraft during the Second World War. Featuring a more precise sighting system, it offered better accuracy against fast‑moving targets. Mounted on towed carriages or adapted to vehicles, it provided flexible deployment for both air defence and limited ground support. While its calibre became less effective against newer, faster aircraft as the war progressed, it remained valuable in secondary roles. Its relatively light weight allowed rapid redeployment, making it a versatile asset for protecting troop concentrations, supply lines, and key installations.
