DAK Panzer IV Ausf F2 (German)

Description

The Panzer IV F2, deployed by the German Afrika Korps in World War II, was an upgraded medium tank designed to counter Allied armoured threats. It featured a long barrelled 75mm KwK 40 L/43 gun, capable of penetrating enemy armour with improved range and accuracy. Its frontal armour reached up to 50mm, providing increased protection, while retaining mobility with a top speed of about 40km/h across desert terrain. Equipped with two MG34 machine guns and a five man crew, the F2 balanced firepower, armour, and manoeuvrability. Extensively used in North Africa, it proved effective against British and American tanks, reinforcing Germany’s armoured divisions throughout the campaign.
