Description
The “Flamethrower, Portable, No 2” (Also know as an “Ack pack” or “Lifebuoy”) was a flamethrower used by the British Army during WWII. It was very similar to the German Wechselapparat, a flamethrower of WWI vintage. The doughnut shaped fuel container gave it a very distinctive look, though at nearly 30kgs in weight, it was considered heavy.
