Jagdpanzer IV L/48 (German)

Description

The Jagdpanzer IV was a German tank destroyer based on the chassis of a Panzer IV H. Initially equipped with an L/48 75mm, this was later changed to a longer L/70 75mm gun. A low profile, thick frontal armour and an accurate main gun made it exceptional in it’s role but it performed poorly in other combat situations. Introduced at the end of 1943, it saw service until the end of the war.
