KV-85 heavy tank (Soviet)

Description

The KV-85 was developed by the Soviets as a response to the capture of a Tiger I in January 1943. Seeing how much more powerful the 88mm gun was than the current 76mm in the KV-1 lead the Soviets to the marry the new 85mm gun for the IS tank with a turret to fit the KV chassis. 130 of these stopgap KV-85 tanks were made before IS production got fully underway and superseded it.
