Description
The M20 Scout Car was a variant of the M8 Greyhound that a ring mounted .50 calibre machine gun in place of the turret. This made it’s profile even lower than that of an M8 and it proved to be a useful reconnaissance vehicle alongside tank destroyer platoons. It also lent itself to good use as a command vehicle. Around 4,000 were made and saw service between 1943-45.
