M4 Mortar carrier (US)

Description

The M4 Motor Mortar Carrier (MMC) was a variant of the US M2 halftrack that was equipped with a rear facing 81mm medium mortar. Initially designed to be dismounted before firing, a reinforced rear deck also allowed it to be fired from the halftrack.
