M8 Greyhound armoured car (US)

Description

The M8 Greyhound was a light armoured car used by the US army in WWII. It was lightly armoured and armed, but highly manoeuvrable and was easy to hide. It could reach speeds on 55mph on roads and it’s 6×6 drive gave it reasonable off road capabilities. It saw service between 1943-45 and over 12,000 were built, with many continuing to be used into the 21st century.
