Model 1939 37mm AA gun (Soviet)

Description

The Model 1939 37mm 61-K was a Soviet AA gun of WWII. It was developed after the Soviets decided that a larger calibre medium AA gun was required to complement the 25mm Bofors they had purchased. The resulting 61-K was a natively designed weapon comparable to the 40mm Bofors. 

Over 20,000 were produced for the Soviet army and it saw service throughout the war and beyond with various USSR countries. It was also the gun used to create the ZSU-37 mobile AA platform.
