Description

The Panzerkampfwagen 35R 731(f) mit T-26 Turm was a rare German field conversion that combined captured French and Soviet components into a single ad-hoc fighting vehicle. Based on the Renault R35 light tank—designated 35R 731(f) by the Wehrmacht—the original turret was removed and replaced with the turret from a Soviet T-26, typically armed with a 45mm gun.

The Renault chassis, though slow and lightly armoured, offered a reliable platform, while the T-26 turret provided improved firepower over the original French armament.
