Andryusha rocket launcher (Soviet)

Description

The Katyusha BM-12-16 Soviet truck mounted rocket launcher is an iconic vehicle and alongside the Germen Nebelwerfer, probably the only one that most people ever think was present during World War II. However, the success of the Katyusha spawned a series of larger rocket launchers including the Andryusha BM-31-12 heavy launcher.

The Andryusha featured 12 larger (300mm) rockets over the Katyusha’s 16 120mm rockets. A heavier warhead and greater range meant that the Andryusha could unleash a more devastating barrage than it’s smaller sibling.
