Komintern artillery tractor (Soviet)

Description

The Komintern artillery tractor was a Soviet vehicle of World War II. Based on the suspension of the obsolete T-24 tank, it was produced in response to the need for a heavier tow vehicle than the available trucks that would effectively pull the heavier artillery such ass the 152mm howitzer through the mud of the Eastern Front. Nearly 2500 were manufactured in total and it proved to be a successful vehicle.
