Staghound MkIII Armoured Car (British)

Description

The T17E1 was an armoured car produced by the US and used by British and commonwealth forces, where it was called the “Staghound”. It saw service from 1944 right through until the 1980s. Multiple variants were produced during WWII in the Mki with a 37mm main gun, the MkII with a 3″ howitzer, the MkIII with either a 6pdr or 75mm gun and the AA fitted with twin 50 cal. Browning machine guns.
