Description
The Type 92 was a Japanese machine gun of WWII and was an upgraded version of the Type 3. It used a 7.7mm round and was nicknamed “woodpecker” by Allied troops due to it’s distinctive noise. A solid and reliable gun, it was hampered by a relative short feed strip which meant it could not reach the sustained RPM of many other contemporary MGs.
