Description
As with many armies during the post WWI period, Japan developed it’s own anti-tank rifle. The “Type 97 Automatic Cannon” was a man-portable 20mm calibre semi-automatic anti-tank weapon. First deployed in 1939, it saw service through until 1942 when it became apparent that it was ineffective against modern armour.
