Description
The Vicker medium machine gun was a .303 water weapon first introduced by the British Army in 1912. It saw service through the First and Second World Wars, and right up until 1968. Vickers bought out the Maxim company in 1896 and set about improving the Maxim MG by simplifying the action, lightening the weight and altering the metal used for some components.
It was a solid and dependable weapon, well liked by it’s crew and with almost unrivalled reliability.
