Description
Japanese defences are often thought of as hidden, coconut log bunkers buried in the jungle. However, despite a lack of cement at times, large and imposing concrete structures were also built across the Pacific Islands by the Japanese. This command bunker is based on an example from the Tarawa atoll that was assaulted by the US Marines in November 1943.
The model is available as either an undamaged structure, or with the extensive battle damage that occurred during the fighting.
In order to aid with placing models inside, this is designed with a removable roof and floors. Each floor has two rooms.
