Description

The German DKW NZ350 was a mid‑sized motorcycle designed for mobility and practicality across varied fronts. Its two‑stroke engine offered good acceleration and manageable maintenance demands, making it popular with dispatch riders and reconnaissance troops. Lightweight and manoeuvrable, it performed well on poor roads, though it lacked the power and ruggedness of heavier military machines. The NZ350’s compact frame made it easy to conceal, supporting scouting and courier roles near the front line. While not suited to carrying heavy equipment, its reliability and ease of handling ensured it remained a valuable asset throughout the Wehrmacht’s fast‑moving operations.
