Praga RV (Czechoslovakian)

Description

The Czechoslovak Praga RV was a versatile 3‑ton truck widely used by the Czech Army and later absorbed into German service after occupation. Its six‑cylinder engine provided reliable performance, and the truck’s strong chassis made it suitable for troop transport, supply duties, and towing light artillery. The Praga RV handled rough terrain reasonably well, though heavy loads reduced its mobility. German forces valued its durability and converted some units into radio trucks and field workshops. Despite limited spare parts availability, the Praga RV remained in service throughout the war, demonstrating the high manufacturing standards of pre‑war Czechoslovak industry.
